The Westmont Library will expand its hours of service beginning on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Doors will now open at 9:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday. There is no change to the Sunday schedule.
“In order to better serve our patrons, we have extended our hours,” said Julia Coen, Westmont Library Director. “By opening a half hour earlier for six days a week, we hope that we are providing greater access to our collections and services for our residents.”
Regular Library hours will be:
Monday - Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Friday and Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Open 7 days a week, 352 days a year
Each month, the Westmont Library has approximately 12,000 visitors and offers an average of 50 programs. Each year, the Westmont Library lends out about 300,000 books and other items including DVDs, books on CD, and video games. They also offer access to hands-on tools such as sewing machines, a vinyl cutter, a carving machine, and more.
